We all know reputation performed great because of 1989 era hype and her diehard fanbase. But did LWYMMD stay 10 weeks on top of the Hot 100? Did LWYMMD sell 1 million copies the 1st week after all the hype and that expensive music video? I guess not

Taylor last 3 albums sold +1Million copies on the first week alone so your theory that 1989 era made Reputation/Taylor perform great has been debunked, people are just here to see what she got to serve, that’s why she’s coming for the fourth 1Million first week sales in a row. 

Not to mention she obtained a high profile career longer than Adele and apparently she’s still on the rise by breaking all kind of records every time. 

And yeah the “expensive MV” made her break Adele’s youtube record.
