She’s not suing because they’re criticizing her politics, that’s a misleading headline.

Never once has she came out and said she supported the KKK or stood by White Supremacists and she has every right to sue them because they’re using a false narrative. I hope she gets them for defamation of character, libelous slander, and for using her name.

its not okay for people to think that she should be compared to Hitler.

I don't think it's wise to contradict the ACLU, the nation's top constitutional law group, who says Taylor's suit would be meritless :awkney:

she won't call out the nazis and white supremacists using her name, but she will sue the journalist that asks her to call them out

:nails:

I would think the ACLU knows what they're talking about, but in any case, if she sues the journalist and still won't speak out against white supremacists then we know what her priorities are :classy:

Y'all pressed 'cause she's the queen of pop and can sue anyone she wants. Idk why are people comparing her to Satan, when she's the closest to memorable people like Mahatma Gandhi.

I totally understand why she would be mad at the correlation they drew by mentioning her political silence and Nazism in the same article. The correlation was unsavory, even if unintentional. But what baffles me is that she isn't coming out publicly denouncing Nazis who big her up as an icon of white supremacy without her endorsement and approval. Such associations, even if you don't support them, can be detrimental to your career if not addressed and denounced. She could do wonders for her image and make a point of saying that anyone who supports white supremacy should consider themselves no fan of hers. So, to just ignore the unsavory places in which she's being painted as a goddess and just focus completely on the old suing route is very questionable.

Unless the writer explicitly wrote that Taylor Swift is a white supremacist or shares their views, which is something we can only speculate on, then Swift has no case. It would be an attempt at intimidation and would not make it very far. I have a feeling all this lawsuit will do is bring more attention to the article in question, as well as the point that Swift is reluctant to denounce white supremacists... :nails:

I think she has the right to sue this time... they are linking her to a terrible movement based on insane speculation and stan theories.

They are not linking her to a terrible movement. The terrible movement has linked ITSELF to Taylor Swift in a very public and shameless manner, and the article questioned why Taylor has not spoken about that happening and urged her to comment.
