I'm sorry but I knew that he was gay like for years literally  I had no idea some people didn't know, I thought everyone knew that?!

But okay... I'm not sure what to think of this situation because I just LOVE him as an actor and he is amazing at what he does. Of course, that doesn't change the fact that this is a horrible thing that he did, even if he was indeed drunk.

At least I'm glad nothing 'major' happened..

It sucks so much to be underage and inexperienced in the entertainment industry. It's practically a "rite of passage" to be assaulted at least once; it's the norm rather than the exception. People don't take it as seriously because they think it's simply the "price you pay" for fame and money and glamour. And because these teens are working they are thought of as tiny adults rather than the easily freaked out, fragile, still developing minds that they are. (Noah fence, GGD teens  But teens need to be protected from older, wiser, more cunning people who wish to take advantage of their insecurities and tendency to trust those with power over them)

 There is no ability to press charges about something that happened so many years ago if there is no physical evidence such as a video, voice recording, email records, etc.

I'm not defending him, not at all! Maybe the sentence is badly written but I just wanted to say that I am glad it ended on that level. It could have been way worse obviously.

The situation is:

"Hi im a guy and this guy once sexually assaulted me"

The story outed him as both the assaulter & inevitably gay-ish... and like we would all expect, he addressed it.

Would it not have been odd for this man who is assumed not gay, to just completely overlook the fact that he is a guy and that guy was a guy????????????

Didn't admit to sexual assault. PLEASE CHANGE THE TITLE. It is misleading. And the story really goes to show that his intentions but his actions does not amount to anything more than picking him up and lies on top of him. This is just physical assault at the most.

I'm not trying to deny that he may have assaulted the kid but cmon. He might have just been drunk, grabbed the kid, put him on a couch and fell on him...Also, I guess he would remember if he sexually assaulted anyone.

Spacey's apologetic statement is not only counterproductive, but harmful to gay men everywhere...

Reading this account made me physically sick, I hope justice is served and more victims speak up.
