(Probably because she tried to cram all her ideas for all of ARTPOP's videos into 1 video.) It would have been great if she had been able to separate the narrative into videos for several songs. In a vid for Venus she is a fallen angel who is revitalized at Hearst Castle in the pools by her dancers. Then in G.U.Y. she brings famous people back to life so she can infiltrate a corporation and have a Versace dance party on the factory floor. If she had split these two ideas into two separate videos, the narrative would have made more sense and the video wouldn't be so schizophrenic, but since they are all combined into one with clips from the different scenes mixed throughout the video, it's confusing and a bit much. The Minecraft and Lego thing was pretty dumb and should have just been deleted. It seems like she wanted to make a point of including technology in her ARTPOP visuals but Minecraft and a youtuber is the best thing they could come up with? Seems like either an attempt to go viral/appeal to kids, or just a personal desire because Minecraft is a video game she played on occasion? I think it was nice of gaga to include ARTPOP and venus in it since she prob knew she would not be able to do more videos for the era. But i never understood why she needed 5minutes credits on it when almost no other video has any credit in them except the director and the label without the credit the video would been 7.20 and would not be that bad for gaga video standards where most videos of her are 5min+. It could also prob helped the video to get a view more views since 12min for a music video seems much more offputting then an 7min. and those who watched must felt dissapointed that almost half of the video is just credits Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

Well G.U.Y was the single though But i never understood why she wanted that as a single when she still had sexxx dreams, MANiCURE and gypsy all ready to do decent radio and charts wise but instead she choice one of the least radio freindly songs on the album. Bad romance video meets ancient greek: This looked so sci-fi/ARTPOP it was amazing: and these pools are just gorgeous A+++ for gaga and everyone who worked on the sets and picked out hearst castel, all the locations in this video are on point.
