Just A Holy Fool

Its disappointing that Settle Down is dropping steadily on itunes, but to be honest I am happy to have seen them at least climb to the top 10 initially. Honestly didn't expect that much. It appeared on Top 40 radio tracking today, I think it will do decently well on radio.

It will do better once it rises on radio, they perform at the teen awards and they have a few more upcoming performances on some shows.

Lady Gaga tweeted about them again too. That's promo in itself lol.

That is probably the best promo of them all. I bet a lot of little monsters have no idea who No Doubt is so they will be likely to check the song out.

Nas will debut at #1 on next week's chart, giving Def Jam two titles in the Top 5. Frank Ocean, in his first week of wide release (sans Target), is being featured for $2.99 in Amazon MP3 store. Because of SoundScan rules limiting the pricing to no less than $3.49 in the first four weeks of release, these sales will not count on that chart. Our current projection does not include these sales.

Bruno Mars may re-enter the Top 15 next week on the strength of a 99-cent Amazon Daily Deal. Phil Collins' ...Hits, currently #1 on its digital chart, and Shinedown's Amaryllis are also currently 99 cents, but are not included here because the info is not yet available. Here's how it looks going into the weekend:

*Nas (Def Jam/IDJ) 125-135k

Zac Brown Band (Atlantic) 70-80k

*Kidz Bop Kids (Razor & Tie) 60-65k

Frank Ocean (Def Jam/IDJ) 40-45k

One Direction (Syco/Columbia) 35-40k

Justin Bieber (Island/Def Jam) 35-40k

Adele (XL/Columbia) 30-35k

Maroon 5 (A&M/Octone) 30-35k

*Dark Knight Rises (WaterTower) 28-32k

Chris Brown (RCA) 27-30k

*Pierce the Veil (Fearless) 27-30k

Luke Bryan (Capitol Nashville) 24-27k

Linkin Park (Warner Bros.) 24-27k

Kenny Chesney (Blue Chair/Columbia Nashville) 24-27k

Bruno Mars (New Elektra) 24-27k

Katy Perry (Capitol/EMI) 24-27k
