Just A Holy Fool 2,460
Notice they are declining at same rate in sales and streaming, even though radio continues to push Payphone. Also CMM again outsells Payphone by a wider margin than expected. So there is a chance for a 7th week? How close were the final numbers when the percentages of each chart are factored in? Oyemiamor 40
I'm surprised at PTA. It has had a little promo with the video previews and her performance. I would have expected it to be higher. Does anyone know how much it sold when her album was released?
Klou 2,414
I'm surprised at PTA. It has had a little promo with the video previews and her performance. I would have expected it to be higher. Does anyone know how much it sold when her album was released? I'm not exactly sure, but I just remember Marilyn Monroe was the highest charting of the non-singles. A good indicator the public likes it, so could be a single later on. Edited July 18, 2012 by Klou
Magoo 6
Notice they are declining at same rate in sales and streaming, even though radio continues to push Payphone. Also CMM again outsells Payphone by a wider margin than expected. Yes, CMM has been selling about 10% more than itunes bars would suggest for the past couple of weeks So there is a chance for a 7th week? How close were the final numbers when the percentages of each chart are factored in? Yes. By the formula sales/K x 62% + BDS airplay/m + streaming/K x 5% get CMM 126 + 126 + 43 = 295 points Payphone 96 +138 + 40 = 274 points Wide Awake 127 + 97 + 31 = 255 points Wide Awake is maybe closing on the others about 2 or 3 points per day due to airplay, but is still some way adrift. jhonyguy04 3
Rihanna's talk that talk has only sold 2.8 copies WORLDWIDE. well is a ****ty rushed album. i love riri, but her spit out a bunch of **** till you get a #1 hit formula is gonna run dry if you don't deliver quality in most of your albums. I'm not exactly sure, but I just remember Marilyn Monroe was the highest charting of the non-singles. A good indicator the public likes it, so could be a single later on. she should have released marilyn monroe then. big mistake.
Oyemiamor 40
Nas’ new Def Jam/IDJ album, Life is Good, is his 10th in an impressive career dating back to ‘94’s now iconic Illmatic. It should debut at #1 on next week’s HITS Album sales chart with between 115-125k. The quintessential N.Y. rapper’s last album, Untitled, debuted in July four years ago with 187k in first-week sales. Razor & Tie’s latest edition of the Kidz Bop Kidz franchise is the 22nd in the long-running series since it launched in 2001, and has proven a big money-maker for the indie. This latest in what has become a cottage industry should do between 60-65k, which is even better than the last one. Eight of the titles in the franchise have gone gold. Fearless Records San Diego-based punk rock band Pierce the Veil, formed by brothers Vic and Mike Fuentes, has previously released a pair of studio albums. Their third, Collide with the Sky, should do in the neighborhood of 25-30k its first week. WaterTower’s Hans Zimmer soundtrack for Dark Knight Rises look to do between 20-25k, while Fallen Sparks/RED’s Matisyahu and Eleven Seven’s Hellyeahâ€â€a metal supergroup featuring Mudvayne’s Chad Gray and Greg Tribbett with members of Damageplan and Pantera drummer Vinnie Paulâ€â€should both do in the 14-17k range.
