He must have missed the flag code that no one follows as well: The flag should never be dipped to any person or thing

However, most of us aren't hypocrites forcing our "patriotism" on others.

i saw this on facebook and i was DISGUSTED by the amount of comments saying "well if this is bullying, i can't wait to raise my child to be a bully!!!"

hyporcrites, these are the type of people who would probably go off if it was their child too

Typical. Why didn’t that “patriot” just stand there and enjoy pledging and leave that other kid alone? The kid that fell was very calm and patient. I would have grabbed that chair and smacked him with it if some jerk tried to kick my chair.

I remember senior year I had a homeroom teacher who literally WENT OFF of me and some other for not standing for the pledge. Like screamed and almost cried and the whole time I was holding back a laugh. This was during 2011 so I was feeling very brave and BTW  of me so I didn't give a ****. Like I knew it was my right to not stand and that people fought for that right.

I think patriotism (and nationalism really) is the reason our country is going to ****  We view people in other countries as things rather than human beings.
