Honestly the best era was TFM transitioning to BTW.

I don't really like how the BTW era ended. :ohno:

Surprised by TFM era ranking low in the poll.  :diane:

Does anyone else agree that each era is so special and she is an artist in that she gives us memorable moments not only from her style, music, philanthropy but does so in a way that her music instinctually connects to you and gives you memory recall--like "Oh, I remember when I first heard BTW..." etc etc etc.  For example: When I first heard Slay-jandro, I remember exactly the month, weather, and mind blown by her music and knowledge I was getting in college--even to the extent of recalling the building/class I was walking out of when the song started playing on my iPod.

REALITY

Just because it has a special place in my heart, ARTPOP. ARTPOP was when I fell in love with Gaga. I loved her music, her philanthropy, and at the time, I absolutely adored, and still do, her philosophy towards art. I always thought it was intriguing, and because of that era, it has helped me understand and create art in a whole different light.

I was also really naive back then. I hadn't been on this website until 2015, so the era had already ended. I didn't follow her on social media, I wasn't worried, or even necessarily curious about how she was doing on the charts. Hell, I was kept in a bubble my entire life and I was so naive that I didn't realize that she came out with an album. But back in 2013, I just kept seeing people talk about Gaga's new song (Applause) and I was curious so I watched it, then I saw the Aura lyric video, and I was like, "Oh she has another song!", and then the DWUW audio video, and then the Dope video, and I didn't even know she had come out with an album until I started seeing like "Lady Gaga Donatella lyrics" or "Lady Gaga Mary Jane Holland lyrics" popping up in my recommended feed for YouTube.

That era introduced me to Lady Gaga, who in turn introduced me to a whole slew of different artists, who in turn helped me fall in love with music. That era meant so much to me and in hindsight, yeah, it wasn't the most commercially successful era, and unfortunately, she wasn't doing great during that time, but my ignorance and my naivety helped me to enjoy the era much more, and introducing me to Gaga has been literally a life-changing moment.
