vinster13 3,545
of shitty single choices? It’s too early to tell, but since the end of BTW, gaga has failed with strategical single choices. BTW: (I loved) but felt dragged out and not planned AP: do I even need to explain? Joanne: no third single, when there was plenty of material

NIghtmareElm 2,606
I've said this over and over. Gaga has the best pop music. The best voice. The best stage presence. Her biggest problem is her label picking the wrong singles. I mean the hit worthy songs are there but they are hardly ever picked as singles. I've never seen a team and a label so horrible at picking the singles as they are for Gaga. Her last smart single choice was Applause. They really need to stop releasing promo singles. Just release one single, let it perform, then release the album.

ComeToMama 4,351
The Joanne single choices were, I think, spot on. For one, besides the possible exception of DIC, there is no song on that album that would have performed exceptionally well on radio. So Perfect Illusion was a good banger introduction into the era. With the surprising amounts of success that MR saw, I think it was smart to end the singles era on a high note. It would have been very disappointing to follow up MR with a single that probably wouldn't even see the light of top 40. And we are now in the smashing tour, so single wise, I think the Joanne era made all the right choices.

Robo Ga 14,507
Meh, doubt it. I'm still sour about Perfect Illusion's flop. My hopes will NOT be up for next era single performances. 🤖⚡️

Absolutley right and we all have to remember that Joanne isn’t as mainstream as her other albums. But rather a work of art.
