Trump called Bush out during the debates so as we have already seen, especially with John McCain, once these politicians get their feelings hurt, they will act on that alone and nothing else.

Republicans should truly be shaking because Bush was their guiding light and savior back in the day (despite the fact that he was also one of our worst presidents ever). But I doubt even this will change things, Trump supporters seem to have entered a zone of true disillusion. They’re mindless zombies willing to believe anything and everything the Trump administration pushes. Had any of these controversies surrounding this presidency occurred during other past president’s terms in office, they’d be impeached. It’s sad.

That's the most infuriating part. Trump shouldn't have made it past the "Mexico is sending drugs, crime, and rapists" statement. Yeah that part really grinds me up inside because had this been literally anyone else, he’d have disappeared into obscurity. Who knows, maybe this Trump rhetoric of hate is going to be the norm for the conservative parties from now on? It’s just really sad that American politics have come to this, and yet a good portion of this country won’t wake up.
