DiscoHeaven23 35,007
George W Bush giving a speech just moments ago Quotes from speech: "Bigotry seems emboldened. Our politics seems more vulnerable to conspiracy theories and outright fabrication." "We've seen nationalism distorted into nativism...we need to recall and recover our own identity" "Foreign aggression, including cyberattacks, disinformation & financial influence, should never be downplayed or tolerated." "...bigotry is blasphemy against the American creed." "Our young people need positive role models. Bullying and prejudice in our public life sets a national tone." President Trump 3,508
Trump called Bush out during the debates so as we have already seen, especially with John McCain, once these politicians get their feelings hurt, they will act on that alone and nothing else. Edonis 28,974
Republicans should truly be shaking because Bush was their guiding light and savior back in the day (despite the fact that he was also one of our worst presidents ever). But I doubt even this will change things, Trump supporters seem to have entered a zone of true disillusion. They’re mindless zombies willing to believe anything and everything the Trump administration pushes. Had any of these controversies surrounding this presidency occurred during other past president’s terms in office, they’d be impeached. It’s sad. The first woman candidate and gay campaign manager ran the cattiest campaign known to mankind. Those hundreds of millions of dollars in propaganda had an effect, a lasting effect. RAMROD 117,010
GWB had his shares, but during his tenures, USA was never really this bad with violent act and the racists getting very bold to the point they brave enough to march on the street in the afternoon. He was never using that thing as part of his presidential campaign. Unlike Trump. This is really say something. That's the most infuriating part. Trump shouldn't have made it past the "Mexico is sending drugs, crime, and rapists" statement. He should've been laughed off the stage and faded away shamefully but millions were ready and willing to drink that Kool-Aid, ignore reality, throw their morals in the trash, and elect this POS as our president. Give us Bush over Trump any day. Better yet, give us the president we actually f*cking voted for. Whimsical bitch

Yeah that part really grinds me up inside because had this been literally anyone else, he’d have disappeared into obscurity. Who knows, maybe this Trump rhetoric of hate is going to be the norm for the conservative parties from now on? It’s just really sad that American politics have come to this, and yet a good portion of this country won’t wake up.
LaLuna 12,732
You know things are bad when Dubya is making sense and you find yourself agreeing with him. Never thought there would ever be a worse president than him, but here we are
