I want to believe this but I actually hope it's just rumors 

One of my biggest concern about the movie was that they were gonna have Gaga play herself, and that was one of the biggest criticism for her portrayal of The Countess. But that was a different story because Elizabeth was a character specifically made for Gaga to play and be good at playing, so it made sense to give her an over-the-top fashionable diva who likes beautiful things and is addicted to sex (I'm not saying Gaga is all of this but that's pretty much what people think - or used to think - when they heard her name or her songs).

With ASIB I was really hoping it could help her showcase her acting skills rather than her personality... I wanted Ally to be the opposite of Gaga for that reason. Adding La Vie En Rose and Room In My Heart to the soundtrack sounds forced to me. I really want people to go out the movie theater thinking that they loved the way the characters have been portrayed and, as a minor though, that Gaga had a great voice... because she already proved that several times and let's be honest... I don't think that many non-fans (people who don't know Gaga has a great voice) will go to the theater to see this movie 

all of this aside, I am very hyped
