I am honestly disgusted at how many people tolerate his behavior.  If you honestly agree you should be ashamed of yourself.

If he owns the coffee shop its not a public space and he can do what he want as long as its within the law.

Not sure where this situation falls. It would be harassment if the owner did it because of their religion, but not if it was because of disagreeing with their opinions (on abortion etc)?

Rabbit Heart

When christians kick out gay people from their places it's bad, when gays do the same thing to them it's not bad?! C'mon guys... You can't fight against something while you do the same thing you're fighting against! This world is one ****ed up hell hole.

That is not something all christians believe in

They were distributing pamphelts that say they do believe that.

Liberals are so afraid of conflict they can’t even defend themselves against people who hate them for no reason.

The pamphlets are about “sin” and “abortion” according to the article.

The Blaze is extremely right wing, one step above brietbart and one step below fox news. They posted this story in order to get people to react in the way that members here are reacting. In the video the people admit to handing out flyers on the street, which is what they are being kicked out for.

I would not want to serve people who hate me enough to pass out flyers calling for my condemnation. And no one should be forced too.

That J

I think if it's tacky to do this to one group, it's tacky to do it to that group too.  If they were disrupting service, yea kick them out. But the owner disrupted service and sure that's his right. Power to the people.  But it's all gross to me.

Here's how I see it:

No, you shouldn't be a bag of dicks to someone. Try your hardest not to. With that said, that can't work forever. Sometimes you need to push back in an assertive way. In this situation, these groups are actively working to proselytize those who have deviated from the faith and those whom they want to convert. The thing is, they don't care about what you think or feel. It's the word that they follow that is right and the only one that is truly valid. That's not spreading love, and it's certainly not nonviolent. That act itself breeds intolerance which leads to violence. So in my mind, if they aren't going to afford respect to you or serve you why should you serve them? If they want religious freedom laws to be in place they are not the only groups that can benefit from them. It's high time Christians and Catholics in America get off their high horse and stop believing that they deserve special treatment under the law. The law is unbiased and because of that law is fair or at the very least should be. They had one thing right in their gay rights rebuttal and that's that no one deserves preferential treatment in the eyes of the law. It's was irrelevant in gay rights, but here it's very very relevant.

Just do your job and serve, aslong as they aren't disrupting other customers. It's not difficult.

Okay, how about this.

They think I will burn in hell for literally eternity for no reason.

Am I exaggerating that? Is it better cause they aren't doing it personally?

So you think both cases would be okay? You aren't bothered by it either way, right?
