ArtGagaPop 61,940 Posted October 5, 2017 Share Posted October 5, 2017 No, she did alot of promo for MR and the album as a whole for 2-3 months then she went to do her biggest peformance of her life so she didn't have time to promo all the time while rehearshing. She also shoot a movie, planed a world tour and lost one of her best freinds during the cure so while sad the song didn't get any video or promo she could not done anything diffrent at that time except saving the song for later. The only thing i want is more videos. I didn't dislike any of the joanne videos but i want to return to btw/fame days where 5-6 songs of the album had videos and not 2 like ARTPOP or 3 with one of them being a non single for joanne. Also the singles that were chosen were great and MR was the biggest smash/single they could get from this album. DIC is overated with the fanbase and would not be the smash most little monsters think. I think they should have keept releasing more singles after the cure though with a new video as mostly the only promo. A-YO/Joanne/DH/Hey girl all deserved visuals and DIC could have one too. I'd love to see her go down the C2C/Joanne route (and like I've repeatedly mentioned BITCH GOTTA DO BROADWAY) rather than go back to the late 00s/early 10s style. She goes for this b ig, romanticized thing (John Wayne in country music) where she's just trying to find her equal but at the end of the day they can't handle her, and they all handle it in different ways edit: having said that, it's still one of her best videos imo.
