Mister Gaga

Bionic introduced the 'flop' as something iconic. It's the madonna of flops. It paved the way for other albums/eras which were seen as flops (but were not, in some cases). Britney Jean, 4, Witness, ARTPOP...

Legend X, as always, started the trend

ARTPOP is not a flop ... yes it underperformed but its nowhere near a true flop.

maybe for us but there's no point denying people consider it a flop and that's why it's an iconic flop :staymad:

Blackout

It sold almost 4 Million WW at a time when Britney was the most hated persson in the world on par with Osama Bin Laden, Blackout did amazing for an album released by "2007 Britney" with 0 promo and no world tour.

Glitter, Bionic and Britney Jean. Glitter was a complete disaster that almost endd Mariah's career for good and the whole era was a mess. Bionic was one of the first albums to be labeled flops and it's iconic how everyone dragged The Oreo singer for coppieng Gaga and Madonna(unfortunately Bionic ended Xtina's career). Britney Jean is iconic for all the wrong reasons. From it being the worst album of Britney's career, to the trend-hoping, bad production, cringy lyrics and on top of all that half of the album was not even Britney singing, but Myah Marie. So yeah, those three I think are the most iconic flop albums.

Honestly some flop albums (i.e. Bionic, Lotus) are just underrated. It's this music's generation which is filled with fatty little children who don't appreciate their ancestors. If Bionic didn't die for their horrible taste in music, then I don't know what did tbh :madge:
