Ideas for a Gaga-Inspired Tattoo

Guys, I want to get a tattoo above my elbow (where Gaga has her mouse tattoo), and I really want it to be representative of Gaga and all that she’s done for me, personally, and for all of us.

Do you guys have any Gaga-inspired tattoos? Or did you get one matching hers? I need ideas! Also feel free to post pics of them

I am thinking of getting 'Lady Gaga' tattooed like her 'Joanne' tattoo, same spot. I don't want to use the exact same script as hers, I want something a bit different, but very beautiful.

Does anyone have really nice script they particularly love?

Hey, I almost never write on the message boards, and I am very bad at technology/ social media things, but I incorporated Gaga into my one and only tattoo that I got back in 2013 so I wanted to respond. I got the letters RTBBTW in cursive script on the inside of my arm, and it's the part of my tattoo that is closest to my heart. There is more text but it extends down into the crease of my elbow. RTBBTW is my shorthand for "I'm on the right track baby, I was born this way," and had already become so important to me in the self-acceptance of a diagnosis of bipolar-II disorder and struggles with mental health by 2013 that I wanted to commemorate that in the tattoo design. RTBBTW for me personally contains a reminder to myself in the darkest times that I am, indeed, on the right track-- that it will be okay-- and that I was born with this brain chemistry, and it's okay to be this way (because we're all beautiful in our way).

For your tattoo, I wouldn't deign to suggest to you anything specific from the host of Gaga-isms that are so meaningful to me, because we're all unique. I'd just advise you to choose something-- text, image, combination thereof-- that comes straight from your heart. Has there been something-- a lyric, a video, a moment from a ball, the gesture of the monster paws, whatever-- that epitomizes what Gaga has done for you?

If I ever get a Gaga related tattoo (so, a tattoo at all ) It'll be a cute little pig snout as well as the symbol that she and the other sexual abuse survivors got.

I went from casual fan to full on Monster when she debuted Swine. The speech before hand hit me so hard and made me face emotions that I had been repressing and medicating for a years. The sexual and physical abuse I had suffered throughout my life from people who were meant to take care of me. Not to mention the constant abuse throughout the last year of my last serious relationship. It was all drugs, abuse, and soul crushing bleakness that made me become even more stoic and distant than I was before. The one person that made me feel secure with myself in the world had betray me and done the unthinkable and I felt trapped and empty. I felt worthless. I even attempted to kill myself at one point.

However, Gaga came out and debuted that song with that amazing speech beforehand. Swine broke me. ARTPOP as a whole broke me. Gaga broke me. All so that I could pick up the pieces and put them together properly. Swine, to me, is a symbol of owning one's history and overcoming it. Facing traumas, accepting them, and growing from them. I'm not trying to sound like a whiner or anything but all the sh*t I went through in my life and all the swine I climbed through...that feeling was, and still is, liberating. It's a cliche statement but that's the moment that Gaga saved me. Either from having a life of that's consumed by constant doubts, sadness, and seclusion or from having no life at all.

And the TIHTY symbol is less about the song and more about that moment in her career/our lives. The healing and openness that happened during that period was really therapeutic

...Anyway, enough about me and my rambling  What about her has stuck out to you? Why do you love her? What makes her one of your idols? What's your favorite song or moment in her career? What came from her that's so important that you want it to be a part of you forever?
