It's funny, the first time I ever saw you, I was a Community Committee member and you were posting in my Albums Reviews thread, a place where I put forward a lot of rap and RnB for topics of discussion. You didn't seem to have a problem with me then. I care what people think of me on this site because reputation spreads. I know that you have friends on here who routinely dislike my posts, it's the same people every time such a discussion comes up. Before I know it, people who have lurked here for a long time and have just joined will already have an untrue perception of me before they've even got to know me. This forum is the one true outlet I have to speak my views in this world, it's the only place where I can get out my beliefs and have people remotely entertain them. No one in real life wants to talk about the stuff I do. I came here to make friends and find some level of acceptance and friendship, which I have precious little of in reality. I don't like to think that untrue stuff is being spread about me and potentially causing people to be nasty to me or not give me a chance to be friends with me. I'm not saying you're deliberately missing my posts on purpose, I'm saying that we only seem to run into one another when a controversial topic comes up, so you view me as someone who's highly emotional and maybe even aggressive. If you would venture into more neutral topics, you'd see other sides of me and get a more well-rounded idea of who I really am. I mean, when I found out you were Hispanic, I told you about my knowledge of the Spanish language and Hispanic culture because that's a side to me that I think you'd never see otherwise and is instrumental and giving you a more accurate depiction of who I really am. Who am I really? What's my upbringing? What are my hobbies? What have I done in my life? You don't know because you've never taken the time to get to know me and have based your perception of me completely on my most outspoken moments (and even then, I never swear or use slurs) so you can understand why I think your suggestion that I'm racist is laughable. The security guard was identified as Jesus Campos by the International Union, Security, Police and Fire Professionals of America. He was injured after Paddock fired at him through a door, striking Campos in the leg, police said. Campos provided information over the phone that helped authorities locate the 32nd-floor room that Paddock was firing from, a spokesperson for the union said. Campos was on "random patrol" as a security officer at the hotel when he found the shooter, said Liliana Rodriguez, who identified herself as a coworker of Campos' at Mandalay Bay on a GoFundMe page she set up for him. "Any one of us could have been in the position he was in," Rodriguez wrote. "Most importantly we are a home away from home and at the end of the day we are a team and we should all go home together." Someone referring to a single person with a posting history is different than you referring to "people of color". Your copy paste replaced a single person (who has a long post history) with an entire group of millions of anonymous people.
