One citizen is a part of the general population. It doesn't say you need to harm every person in Nevada. Anyways criminologists and policy-makers know that it's important to keep terrorism separate from mass murders stemming from personal issues, because the motive determines how we should react to it and prevent it. This Twittersphere debate is just a bunch of nonsense which started because some people were mad about how they felt the media was biased against 'brown' suspects. The US is the only civilized country where you see this kind of thing happening and the only with such free gun laws, Mexico has HUGE issues with cartels and 100ks have died because of it, but NEVER in mass shootings/school shootings/hate based shootings. StrawberryBlond 15,564
It's terrifying to think the guy wasn't even in the venue. I initially thought he must have bypassed security but no, from a hotel room window. A JFK type attack. Multiple rifles in his room. This now makes outdoor venues all the more frightening. I don't know how many more deadly shootings it will take before gun laws will ever be changed. Other countries don't experience this amount of gun violence because guns aren't allowed. It's not rocket science.

This is no time to be political, and there is no way to prevent things like this happening. It is easy to acquire assault guns and no law against guns is going to stop people from getting these weapons. Apparently the shooter was in the military and has PTSD. aside from that, this is a incredibly sad and horrible thing. It could happen to ANY of us, especially during concerts. But there is. 35 people were killed and 24 were injured in a mass shooting in Australia in April 1996, at the time it was the worst known mass shooting in modern history. Gun control laws were swiftly introduced after and there has not been a mass shooting since. The American Govt needs to stand up to the NRA and fix this problem. It has gotten so out of hand.
