This is why i wish people would ignore that man in the oval office. His job is to obfuscate, distract and make nonsense. Literally all i hear about is the worthless NFL and trump tweets yet the real issues receive no attention. 

How did people forget the golden rule "Dont feed the troll" thats what Trump is he is a troll. Ignore him and adress the issues. The devil tempts people with distractions and secretly steals their souls. Trump is definitly the DEVIL. He distracts all these people getting a cheap "high" by leaving him a nasty twitter comment while congress quietly gets away with murder (literally). congress loves trump. They say he is bad leader blah blah blah but truth is if everyone is obsessed with trump they get to sit around and give cute little speeches and get nothing done. 

 

Sorry this has been bothering me so long. I dont give af about Trump. Congress is a mess and they need TERM LIMITS and a PAY CUT.

They get paid $174,000 a year to bicker like little bitches. Makes me sick.

Is it necessary to have children's insurance, though? When I was a kid I didn't worry about things like that. I let grown-ups deal with the financials.

It's not the children who are doing the paperwork  It's great that you had parents and/or grownups in your life that could deal with the financials. What about low-income families?

You live in Canada, it's a whole different story in America. Yes, children need healthcare, and insurance is vital to that care here.

Yes. And I was actually under the CHIP program for many years when I was a kid. It helped my family immensely.

You said you didn't worry about it as a child...that's because you weren't a citizen if the US. You didn't have to ever think about it because you didn't live in the US. 

 

Do you have a comment specifically on what you think the US system should do or try to achieve, like I did in my comment about Germany?

CHIP provides low-cost health coverage to children in families that earn too much money to qualify for Medicaid. In some states, CHIP covers pregnant women. Each state offers CHIP coverage, and works closely with its state Medicaid program.
