A woman is dragged off a SWA flight as PAX are told to put their phone away by a FA.

The woman whom police dragged off a Southwest Airlines flight on Tuesday evening at the Baltimore-Washington International Airport now faces multiple charges, the Maryland Transportation Authority said in a statement obtained by Business Insider on Thursday.

The incident, which was filmed by a fellow passenger, took place on Flight 1525 to Los Angeles.

It started when the passenger, who has been identified as 46-year-old Anila Daulatzai, told the flight crew that she had a "life-threatening pet allergy," Southwest Airlines said in a statement to Business Insider.

Daulatzai brought this to their attention because there was an emotional-support dog and a pet on the flight.

The airline said that for Daulatzai to remain on the flight, she would need to show a medical certificate.

ok. I'm gonna have to side with SWA on this one. She didn't have the proper documentation and was refusing to get off the plane, she was delaying the flight for everyone. Plus you can see her just dragging herself, she wasn't even trying to walk. Like girl... those people have places to be. :awkney:

I mean what else could they have done, she was non-compliant.

From what I read, she was dragged off because she didn’t have documentation that she was allergic to someone else’s pet? That seems crazy to me. Because she forgot to bring proof that she’s allergic to dogs, she isn’t allowed to fly?

I get that. But the way she handled it was totally uncalled for. I mean, she was dragging herself across the ground. She should have been more cooperative, and I'm sure they would have given her compensation or at least something for the missed flight.

The same could have been said about the United passenger who was dragged off the flight. She was lucky enough to not have gotten injured whilst being dragged off the flight, otherwise this story would have blown up 10 fold and the blame would have been put on SWA.

Edit - She does mention something about them breaking her leg in the video. So maybe she was injured.
