:flutter: absolutely magical, the BBC has done it again and i can't wait :woot:

if you've never seen Planet Earth, Planet Earth II or Blue Planet, i REALLY REALLY REALLY recommend you do! :excited2: these people work so hard in such dangerous environments and climates to bring people once in a lifetime moments, including brilliant footage of very rare species etc

they're the most beautiful shot documentary series in television history and you will learn a lot about the world you walk upon :sara:

the soundtrack to Planet Earth II and Blue Planet II was composed by queen Hans Zimmer himself

Same :laughga: I think that's what makes me so fascinated with it though, because it's something that I'm afraid of being in (water that goes beyond my chin and/or water that I can't see the bottom of) :rip:

Nnnn :selena:

When I was 9, I went to this beautiful lake with incredibly clear water where one could see the ground very well and swam out very enthusiastically and even after like 20-30 meters one was still able to see the sand below, so I thought that the whole lake was rather shallow. Spoiler Alert: IT. WAS. NOT. All of a sudden the ground made a HUGE drop and the water below went pitch black, kind of like this:

Except I didn't dive into the abyss... and just looking at this gif gives me anxiety :wtf:

But yeah, that's the story of how I experienced my first panic attack and almost drowned. :awesome:
And how I never went into a lake again :awesome:
And how I got thalassophobia :awesome:
And how I stop breathing when I see documentaries about the ocean, but I can't wait to watch more of them :awesome:
