Most on the right, and the left, believe Hillary was the most boring, robotic, stale, transparently corrupt candidate ever to run for office. All politicians lie, but she was incredibly bad at it, and she kept getting caught. Statistically, people did not come out to vote for her. Trump won states that Romney lost, by getting less votes than Romney. Literally nobody came out to vote for Hillary Clinton.

That general information aside - the entirety of Hillary's additional 3 million voters came from California. If you remove California's voters from the equation, she would have actually lost the popular vote by around 1.5 million. The Electoral College was set up to prevent regional candidates from achieving national success.

1. Hillary won more votes than any other presidential candidate in history besides Obama in 2008. So yes a lot of people came out to vote for her.

2. Trump is a pathological liar, and Hillary's so called "lies" mostly come from a right wing effort to slander her because she's long been a threat to them. When she's actually in office her approval ratings soar.

3. Saying her lead would evaporate by removing any one state she did well in isn't a valid argument at all, because the same would be true by removing any one state Trump did well in. In the end 3 million more people voted for her, despite republican led voter suppression, an abundance of fake news articles from Russia in favor of Trump, and an oddly timed Jim Comey letter to congress, even though an investigation into the Trump campaign was already underway at the time and he felt no need to mention it.

America is divided and the political power is moving to the extreme right with 45 et al.

Democrats are way too neoliberal.

Libertarians are like "I love weed but **** poor people."

We've gotta find that middle ground that Bernie was able to encapsulate.  And stop blaming third party voters.  Till all this s**t gets sorted out, we will likely have the p***y grabber for 8 years :madge:

Bernie did not represent the middle ground at all (he and many of his supporters are too far left to actually appeal to middle America) and third party voters should be blamed as much as republicans in my opinion. They knew exactly what they were doing when they voted for a candidate who had no statistical chance to actually win, and in doing so, providing an even stronger disparage between votes.

At the end of the day, this party needs unification or else we will face another 4 years of TOTUS and his goons after that.

But those 3 Million Californians are still part of the US. It doesn’t matter if you “cut them out”

The third point - the percentage of people who voted for Hillary in California was astronomical compared to the rest of the states, so California skews the popular vote count enormously.

Minority groups and immigrants overwhelmingly vote for the Democrats, mostly because of their socialist policies. The flood of immigration to states such as California has added tens of millions of people over the past decade. Even with population much higher, turnout % for Hillary was extremely low across the country. Her voting population is still centered around the echo chamber that is California, which is dominated by Hollywood culture, with every awards show, every late night show, and every celebrity being a Democrat. Hollywood is the lefts biggest advertiser.

Hillary is truly an incredibly transparent liar. I made a topic on here once, which was closed, that detailed all of her scandals, and they're all verifiable. It's not something ridiculous like Mitt Romney's "binder full of women" propaganda. They're real events with undeniable outcomes. I won't list them because it will come across like a conspiracy theory when its laid out that way, but she has genuinely been surrounded by true scandal her entire run in public life, and not just her husband getting a BJ in the Oval Office, or "her e-mails."

The electoral college was first put in place because the founding fathers were afraid of a tyrant taking power by manipulating the general population and by breaking the rules. Im not even american and i know that. Giving a bigger voice to smaller states was a side effect and it later became a reason to keep it for some people but it was not the original purpose

You basically just rephrased everything I already said. So, I'm glad you agree with me.

EDIT: And I'm not being sarcastic here. You literally just rephrased what I said. I'm repeating this here because as you didn't realize that initially, it bears repeating.

Whispering

Jill Stein sat at the table with Flynn and gave Putin a standing O. It won't surprise anyone to learn she was paid off and involved with Putin.

You said the electoral college was put in place to prevent regional canditates, like one state deciding for the whole country. It is not what i said. There is nothing to agree with, it is a fact. You cant agree or disagree on a fact. It is something that happened in the past, cant change that
