n0ne 13,105
Regulars can skip the intro and guidelines. Newcomers: This is my thread series Last Week in Entertainment. Basically, I'm a entertainment/pop culture buff, so I thought it would be cool to a make a thread series discussing our favorite entertainment/media releases. It's an opportunity to see if you are not alone in liking certain material; as well as discovering new work to follow. Spoiler Logo designed by @AmericanGUY Guidelines (which don't need to be strictly followed, hence guidelines): 1. My preference is for entertainment material that was released in the past week or relatively recently, but if you have something you really want to share that's older, feel free to. 2. Any entertainment medium works; music, film, video games, TV, books, online videos, etc. *My List* Songs/Music+Lyric Videos: Spoiler Movies: Gaga: Five Foot Two, Patchwork (a horror comedy about 3 women stitched together in vein of Frankenstein's monster), The Little Hours (A comedy about a servant that escapes to a convent full of emotionally unstable, sexually frustrated nuns.), and Holding the Man (an Australian biographical gay romantic drama about 2 teens that fall in love during the 70s and follows their 15 year relationship.) Shows: American Horror Story: Cult, Love Connection, To Tell the Truth, Broad City, Vice Principals (a comedy about vice principals that have to work together to run a school), Room 104 (an anthology series that is set in a single room of an American hotel, exploring characters who pass through it in each episode. Each episode is a different genre with some episodes more comical in nature and some more dramatic and some with horror and crime themes.), Channel Zero: The No-End House (a horror anthology series where the storylines for the series are based on popular creepypastas.), and The Good Doctor (a medical drama about Shaun Murphy, a young surgeon with autism and savant syndrome from a small town, where he had a troubled childhood. He relocates to join the prestigious pediatric department at San Jose St. Bonaventure Hospital.) joanoflark 3,824
I've seen Holding the Man on Netflix, it's a very cute movie. I might have shed a tear or two. WATCH IT. It's for God and the gays . Craig Stott, who plays John Caleo in the movie, is queer, so we have a chance, it's all about chances for us . Here he is plus he's a total bad ass, skip to his parts in this interview so you can see for yourselves.
