i don't get how taylor is increasing every era when it's clear sales are becoming more and more dead for every year and every other artist is struggling except adele.

you have to create your own hype 

if u act like releasing an album is a casual thing yes people wont buy it. 

you need to act like its something so special AKA Born This Way release and this Reputation release..

Marketing! 

It's all about it. She always finds a way to get those pure sales. 

- The more albums you buy, the more points you get for the offers on her upcoming tour

- Keeping it off streaming

- Prevention from leaking early

- The UPS buy with 3 extra free digital copies

- Not putting the individual songs on sale on iTunes, thus..people are forced to buy the whole album

all of these combined help her with the massive sales

I don't see how she can't be recording for a 2017 EP right now. I mean, the multiple hints we've gotten about being "taped down" and there being strict deadlines they're recording day and night to meet in between tour dates. This is definitely not just some casual early recording sessions for a 2018 LG6 when there's clearly a deadline to meet; at the same time, it seems like ASIB soundtrack has been finished and completed as early as last April (when we got The Cure, which was obviously meant for the soundtrack but didn't make the cut). 

That mixed with the AMAs rumors, the fan meet and greet stories, Interscope moving Eminem's single release up a week, Interscope internal meetings about Gaga, it all just makes sense that we're getting a new song next week and EP to follow.

If i was Taylor's fan i would buy 1 Digital 1 Phys and 2 Magazines 

thats bascly 4 copies from me and if we say there are other 100k super fans like me its 400K already. And something so huge numbers for 2017
