Mainly folk rock(not country) with a couple pop songs with R&B influence. 

The folk rock songs are the best in this. Two of them I can see being Oscar worthy.

Do you think it would make the sense to promote the soundtrack commercial-wise with a pop song pandering the young (Spotify) audience but also promote the folk rock songs or ballads for the Oscar's?!

I think they are better off promoting the folk rock songs. Especially the final song. The pop songs are good but the other songs have deeper meaning to the story of the movie.

I see that these songs would represent the soundtrack and movie much better but do you think they could be streaming hits or at least be successful outside from the US or just locally?
