but people didn't choose to buy them... it's like giving away a copy of an album with product X... people have to willingly spend more to have the album included (and maybe just go out of their way to get it somewhere or something)

That should change tbh. I wonder if that's the same for physical copies, like if you buy 2 together would that be one?

I think that goes for physical copies as well.. time to release a double disc... every album sold would count as two
