6 days till the record release    

but miley has not performed that well in the US

looking at it 

both katy and miley had a hyped lead single that performed well

( CTTR & Malibu )

the second released song didn’t even entered the top 10 on iTunes 

( bon appetit & Younger now )

 

im seeing some people that are predicting it’s going to debut with 50k ( in my opinion fake )

Miley's album definitely has a solid, unified sound it's aiming for - the question is whether that's the sound that's going to make any sort of impact on people. My guess is no, but I applaud her for the effort.

I think she just released Malibu way too early. She released it in May, which means there's been a four month time difference between the lead and the album, and in my opinion, that's too long.

Idk. All I know is that Witness singles didn't do well (besides CTTR) and the album got snatched by Taylor releasing all her albums on Spotify. And her tour  I have mixed feelings for the tour right now. On the other hand Miley's single Malibu was a huge success for her new style of music. Younger Now was good, but not for a single in the top 10's and the snippets we got in the past couple of days, the hype for the album has slightly....well.... went down? Idk. So I'm that it could be in that category of the witness era, but every artist has a bad era in there career. Ex; Gaga with "ARTPOP", Katy with the current Witness era, etc.
