The fans obsess so much about their artists being #1 and selling millions of CDs, etc. IMO, I think Gaga doesn't focus on that. I think she rather be on stage for her fans, than working the circuit doing tons of promotions, etc. She knows she has her core fans, and that appears to mean the most to her. danieljsolis 0 Posted May 30, 2012 Share Posted May 30, 2012 (edited) Because of the protests here, she has definitely gained more popularity and mostly everyone around me who doesn't listen to Gaga is starting to hate our Church groups here because of the protests; and it's a side I've never seen from them before. Thus, on the second night, the mayor halted all protests. EDIT: I also had a friend who turned into a little monster after watching her shows here because of her speeches.
