Robinladen 1,539
I hope this will not sound insensitive, but let me try to explain. We all know during ARTPOP everything went wrong. A lot of us create fantasies in our head how things could have been, but in the end reality is what happened. She could have given us a bunch of visual masterpieces but things started falling apart instead. She became this embodiment of a tortured and struggling artist. It does give a depth to the era that I think even 10 music videos wouldn't do. The same kind of goes for the documentary now. Knowing that Gaga is in recovery at the very moment we are watching the documentary will add an extra big emotional layer to it. Ofcourse we would have all prefered for her to be healthy and being able to continue the tour without trouble, but seeing Gaga hold on through the bad days is what makes her story so inspiring for us all. I think we're all really lucky to have this amazing woman as our idol/inspiration and it's amazing how open and vulnerable she has been to us. That J 12,166
I've noticed how sometimes it seems like the worst things happen to the BEST people and I think that's because darkness always tries to overcome light. While she has a road ahead of her, Gaga is a natural born fighter and has the love and support of millions. She's not one I'd ever count out! It’s not darkness, but light that puts the best people through tough things and bad people only have “success” (materialistic) and they just become selfish. As a result, the good people would have shaped their personality and have learned to admire goods more because of the hard work and bad people the opposite. I’m not obviously saying that Gaga HAS to go through all this and I do not wish this kind of stuff not even to my worst enemy, but I’m sure that in the end, she will learn something from it. So maybe, it’s not unfair how bad people always get the “good” stuff because the actual good people don’t care about these things. This is just my opinion. About Gaga now, I know it’s really sad what she’s going through physically and possibly mentally (although she has admitted that she is happier now) and it should be even more tough to watch her suffer. I’m so excited tho! I’m A mEsS! sTaY aWaY fRoM mE, mY eIgHt PeTs AnD mY bLuE bIsCuItS, yOu FrEaK!
