Spoiler

I don't want to make music anymore. I said that out loud. Wow. Then, I tried to stop and I didn't know how to. Because it's impossible to walk away from true love. Art, emotion, lyrics, music, feelings, is what I need to survive. Man, the pain woke me up. It's inside out, you know? I don't do this because I want to do it. I do it because I have to. I feel everything so deeply. It's a blessing and a curse. And I lost my passion to create. Draw a line between business and art.

My mother is called Rose, she gave me the gift of life. A rose is at its most beautiful when budding. I rose above the pain. We give roses or a single rose as a gift with so many different feelings. This is my gift to you.

I really hope this era isn't a flop for her, she is actually talented and it's a shame her career is nearly dead.

This. She is one of my faves and her voice is so underrated. I'm glad Bang Bang was a huge hit, so she at least had a hit with her last album. Also Flashlight did nicely in some parts of the world.

I am excited but my expectations are kinda low tbh

I mean I'm kinda over this "I'm gonna show you the real me" thing that most artists are selling right now

she did get lost in the fame, so happy she's going back to her authentic self.

Joanne honestly has inspired so many artist to strip down and create the music that THEY want to create

Hmm, I witnessed her last tour date and back then she already told us she needed to get away from the industry for a little time to find her real self again. She wanted to create music like the first album, from the heart, not just for the industry. So it's not like she jumping on the trend. :bon:

no but for real... that concept was tired even last year when Gaga used it for Joanne

I absolutely get that artists need to evolve and to constantly re-discover themselves through their music/art but this "I am being real and honest" phase always ends up being more constructed and fake than other more creative and original phases in their careers

Gaga's was authentic af, Miley's too but yea for some other artists it's more of a marketing strategy. Not gonna name names but you know who it is :bon:
