her music videos have simply not been good since G.U.Y therefore the visuals have been kinda lame since then

But this is also a matter of opinion. I prefer all three Joanne videos over Applause's. (Especially John Wayne).

I think this thread is the epitome of how there will never be a right or wrong answer when it comes to opinions, and that never will everyone be on the same page.

The ugly truth is: ever since Born This Way, fans have been preaching about "the next album". And when the next album arrives, it's a mess. Years have passed and fans still dream about the perfect "next album", even though the last couple eras were lackluster. Why getting hyped for something when we have no reasons to back it up?

 

Fans see Gaga as their best friend, their mother, their sister, and that is the stupidest thing ever. She's a pop star, she's an artist, and you don't have to support everything she does.

After ARTPOP, an era that disappointed me, I waited for Joanne. I thought to myself "I will only have an opinion about Gaga after the next album". Joanne came and it was basically as disappointing as ARTPOP. Why should I think now "wait for the next album"? In fact, I waited and she gave me The Cure, and I don't recognise the Gaga I once adored in that song.
