I'll be honest, it feels like it takes great responsibility to be a godmother so her relationship with Elton seems strong just by that. Tony did help her and was there for her when she needed, they worked together and released an album full of glamorous songs. You see? I remember days in High School with my friends making fights with each other over who I like more, the ****. So here's the thing: your best friends are not in competition, they all have their equal place in your heart. The other friends, on the other hand... they are worth a slice of banana. She's said several times that Elton cares about her health and told her to quit smoking, Elton also shared musical advice to her. Tony obviously did the same, taught her how to sing jazz, and befriended her when she was dealing with all the pressure from ARTPOP's mixed reception.
