I said it was an album track before it was a charity single... The album with that track was out like two or three months before it became a charity single!

And she's featured on an unreleased Eve track

I'm sure she told all these artists that the single is for charity, I don't see any other logical reason why 20+ artists would take place on some irrelevant grandma's album. It's an other story that she included the song on her album. "Sing" is not a propper feat, or collab.

 

And at the end of the day those tracks stay unreleased, not an actual feats.

Let's say we have a different opinion about this. And sure about Eve, it's unreleased (but it's still a feat)! About Lennox, even tho the official press release say it's a feat, you say it's not, so you must be right!

It's not a propper feat, it is a feat meant for a charity, not a feat meant to record a song with another artist for the sake of art and to mix your styles of music and create something new together, you know, a REAL feature.

she was still featured on the song. The intention doesn't matter. By that logic K-pop isn't music because the singers themselves don't have anything to do with the music creation process (mostly)

That comparisson is irrelevant, though...... I don't say "Sing" is no song, or no real music, I say is not a propper feat. The fact that the K-pop artists have no part in the process of the music they play, doesn't mean they produce no music, it's still music, but one that someone else made. And still, their songs are at least meant for them to sing. This one song, "Sing", was written as a solo and that auntie Linnox sent it to 50+ people and asked them to sing the chorus that she would include in a song for charity. Madonna just sang not only the chorus, but the verse as well(probably everyone recorded the whole song, who would sing the chorus only?) and Annie Lino decided to include Madonna's part in the final product, because it's ****in Madonna.

 

End of story.
