Did Lana Really Diss Gaga?

lana was bitter that her manager ditched her for gaga bc he saw star potential or smth. gaga didn't do anything to her, it was more just lana being upset that she was dropped for someone else

It's been a long time. Almost 10 years since that demo and Gaga and Lana were different people. Even in 2012 they were in completely different places than they are now.

2008 Lana was still Lizzie I believe and was a petty ****. 2008 Gaga had blonde bang wigs and singing in pools in her music videos just starting her career.

2012 Gaga was high on pot all the time, overweight, battling depression and undiagnosed hip problems. Lana was just getting traction online and released her debut album.

Since then, Lana isn't as depressive as she was in 2012 and her music is lighter. Gaga is liked by the public and stays out of drama. They met a couple times in 2015 and Lana was invited AND attend Gagas 30th.

So Legit is so old, and Lana sounds high/drunk/sick, so I don't think she was in her right damn mind, so I d not take the song seriously.

Now, Lana and Gaga have been seen in multiple places together, including Gaga's birthday party, an Lana even viewed Gaga's coachella set alongside Katy Perry.

Humans are not thee set in stone creatures. Only petty people never get over something that doesn't even matter.

I am not , did I not just say we are Facebook friends. Almost every pop star has a private facebook account even Micheal Jackson  (when he was alive)

Micheal Jackson even has his own youtube channel that had no videos on it, he would just watch the latest music videos and etc.

Lana was upset about the way Gaga fired Bob Leone (who was Lana's mentor at the time) and never paid him what he was owed for managing her for 6 months. In those 6 months, he booked tons of shows for her, which eventually led to him getting her to play for Wendy Starland, who then introduced Gaga to Rob Fusari, which led to recording the demos that got Gaga signed to Def Jam. At some point, Gaga's dad convinced her to fire Bob and to hire him as a manager instead. That was the last Bob heard from them. In 2010, after years of hardship, he tried selling Gaga's old demo CDs on eBay and her legal team put a stop to it and paid a settlement of $10,000 for everything he had, of which he only got to keep $6,000 of. He eventually lost his home and had to move in with his elderly mother. And that's why Lana wrote "So Legit".
