We all follow the same book and same teachings, but because one woman doesn't cover her face means that she automatically abandoned religion (when she could easily be more pious or religious) It's just when this happen I end up question my faith...I always end up sticking with it because I believe in God and all that (not that kill the infidels women can't leave home and must submit bullshit mindset) Whenever I'm on forums or anywhere, I always feel like I have to show that "Hey, I don't hate or wanna blow you up because we disagree on some things, hell we prob have many other things in common. They interpret verses and Hadeeths (quotes by the Prophet) in a strict way. I personally just identify as a Sunni Muslim. I don't go in depth with salafism or wahhabism or sufism or all that. We were once the center of knowledge and were progressive. Many tools that save people today would've not existed because of the Islamic golden era, but some radicals came and brainwashed people into thinking that all that was forbidden (it isn't. I can bring up several verses that shows that talk about science and progression in a positive manner, rather than what many radicals preach) I'm not trying to convince on anyone about anything religious here, but I just wanted to show people that most of us aren't like that, and that we share more than you might think.
