If only she can talk about the issue without name dropping anyone it would have been much better. What does this have to do with anything?

But now she using TS song, a very poor example btw, people would only focus to that part rather than the actual subject. Guy hits girl, dad hits child, what do they say to justify it? "Look what you made me do. It's your fault", abusers 99% of the time try to blame the person they are abusing for their actions. "You make me crazy, you shouldn't say this, you shouldn't do this, *slap*, look what you made me do!" And could you not say "ready for it?" is a phrase used before someone rapes/abuses/etc? It's just plucking something out of thin air and applying it to your experiences without looking at the context.
AlexanderMagno 10,746
We live in that wonderful age where anything is offensive to someone I hope things change eventually because it has been ridiculous over the last couple of years.

StrawberryBlond 14,881
While I highly sympathise with the abuse survivors who are affected by titles like this, there are also a lot of similar titles in music. And some songs out there are actually about abuse/rape/murder and are highly controversial in far more than just title. Admittedly, the title gave off a really bad aura to me the first time I saw it as well but it all comes down to personal interpretation. There's a lot of phrases in life that "trigger" me but I don't tell people to stop saying them, I just acknowledge that it's my personal issue that I have to deal with and get over and I can't police and censor others over their perfectly reasonable right to freedom of speech. When you start banning words and phrases, you get into a dangerous place for society. It's just a song. If anything about it triggers you, just don't go near it. No one's forcing you to engage with it. Yeah, some people with OCD might be drawn to check out the very thing that they're afraid of (I'm totally like that) but once you've heard the song and realised that it's not about abuse in any way, shape or form, you might find you're no longer triggered anyway.
