It's so awful. While they are predominantly middle- to upper-class white men, it really grinds my gears when I see lower-class and/or POC with those opinions, too.

Lots of blue collar workers and parts of lower class are being screwed over by their (the GOP) insane rhetoric. I've met several people who would benefit from liberal policies, but align with the GOP because they think that liberals are immoral and spreading a communist agenda...God help us all

Ugh, exactly. I come from a really poor neighborhood, and (fortunately) while a lot of people don't think like that, I know a few that do, including some on my mother's side. I try to tell them to think critically, but they think I've been brainwashed by "liberal college", like... what kind of logical fallacy.
