Disco/pop was all I've ever wanted from the album. And when you release country/AMERICANA-sound album ofc I wouldn't be pleased. I suffer from this pain every day. THE HIT THAT GOT AWAY. Alejandro was bigger than both (I think ) in most of Europe and some other countries but that's beside the point Even Yoü And is x3 Platinum and most of those are pure sales since the video doesn't really have many views Applause also peaked higher, stayed more in the top10, and sold more in the US than Alejandro I don't think it has to do with how big her hits were/are tbh.
