I love it, while being in the trend of that kinda groovy but it has a nice personal/individual twist that I like :D

I'm genuinely disappointed. I thought she was moving away from this disco sound. It doesn't suit her. Funk maybe, but not disco. This sound is dated now, why did she think it was a good idea? It sounds so bland, I don't know how anyone considers this lead single material, not to mention, the chorus does indeed sound like Melanie Martinez's Crybaby. I mean, actually having the same word as your inspiration in your song is just inexcusable. I really wanted to believe she could be capable of more after tweeting that she had psychadelic and Jimi Hendrix inspiration for her album. Jimi being friends with Janis Joplin who wrote a song called Cry Baby was not the kind of inspiration I had in mind. Maybe it might be one of those things where the album's better than the lead single, but I'm just so unsure of Paloma these days after being so let down by her last album.
