It's not a scam if people are getting the benefits :trollga:

I mean, this shouldn't come as a surprise. Taylor is literally known for her groundbreaking sales. With every album she seems to set a new record.

Didn't it alrdy debut at #77 on the Hot 100?

So it's more of a huge jump from #77 to #1 if anything, right? Or does it still count as a debut?

What I want to know is, what made all of these people who don't ever buy music to suddenly come out of the woodwork and buy for this one artist?

However, I'm not complaining that it's a female artist doing this. Good for ha.

I like Peaches-Operate and when I heard this song I was in love with the sound. I hate every bit of the lyrics, but the music sounds good. So I bought it. I'd imagine it's similar to Katy Perry - Dark knight Horse. I can't stand her, but loved the music (minus lyrics). I could see this being the case for quite a percentage of buyers.

It debuted at #77 from the first day of radio airplay ALONE

Yeah, so I'm still confused lol it's no longer a "debut" at #1 if it already debuted, no?

You know what that means tho. No longevity.

The first week of sales isn't over yet, though... how has it been tallied already? Billboard release date an article earlier estimating 400-500k, so I don't think this is accurate. She's obviously going to jump straight to #1 with streaming, sales and radio, but that number seems greatly exaggerated for digital sales in 2017.
