ARTPOPSYCHOLOGY 6,100 Posted August 29, 2017 Share Posted August 29, 2017 So I really can't think of a name to change the Fame/Monster it was too iconic and expertly laid out. I feel almost guilty even attempting to rename them and the fact that I can't shows how iconic those records are. I am breaking your rules though because Dance in the Dark would've been a cool album name for TFM and that one song really really epitomized that concept album. Born This Way also can't have a new name, sorry. ARTPOP I think would've actually benifitted from a different name. Almost all of the reviews I feel like automatically gave it a half a star less because of the name didn't really match up to the concept of the record. I mean I understood it based upon the fact that it was more about the performance art quality at the time and how she was executing the era, but I don't blame critics for being a little confused. I think a good name would've been Godess of Love or Behind the Aura. Joanne I would've called simply "Gaga", but I just attended the CitiField show last night and while I obviously understood why she named the record Joanne, hearing her talk about it in depth before singing the titular track shows it deserves to be named that. Sorry that my response is essentially a cop out but yeah I'm one of those suckers who really don't think Gaga should've done things much differently.
