Poker Face song and video were badass. The entrance in the video and the subliminal f*ck her face are just timeless genius.

Paparazzi really made me an even bigger fan with its unique sound and video.

Bad Romance snatched all my weaves and made me a stan for life and everything she has done since just makes me prouder to be such a huge fan of hers.

It has to be Judas. When I was younger me and my brother would stalk VEVO and watch the newest music releases and when Judas came out, it was so different from anything I had heard. For the next year I kinda followed Gaga, it wasnt until 3 years later that I became an official stan but Judas def got me into her. I actually refused to listen to Bad Romance or any of TF/TFM bc I was stubborn that Born This Way (album) was her best & only work :poot:

Sunday

I was already jamming to her songs since Poker Face till I was converted a stan during Born This Way.

That single night of her live performance of Born This Way during the Grammy's was THE cultural baptism.

Flippy

Honestly I became just a regular listener with LoveGame (a guy I had a crush on in high school loved the song, so I started listening to it :smh:)

Then when I went and visited my (then) best friend, she said that she really wanted to watch the Paparazzi video because people had been talking about it. I watched it & became a fan. I listened to her music and it was cool.

But then the Bad Romance video came along & I officially became a Little Monster.

Just Dance, Poker Face and LoveGame made me a fan, Paparazzi made me a stan, Bad Romance made me a Little Monster. Did the title Little Monsters exist before TFM tho? :selena:

Henri Bardot

I've been a lowkey fan since i was 6 years old (in fact, i have a video with my cousins dancing BR when it came out... i was that age :laughga:).

Then in BTW i loved Judas, Scheiße and Marry The Night, i actually bought the album on iTunes so... :sis:

After BTW era finished, i "discovered" Born This Way and i understood the letter (it helped me a lot), but it was around Applause got out. I remmeber singing Applause, and Venus at school lol... but i still didn't understood the concept of an "album".

A little after ARTPOP i kinda forgot about her (i loved her character in AHS tho), but when she announced PI i started boping to ARTPOP and it had me really shook, so normally Applause/DWUW would be the ones that made me a LM  :poot:

Then PI went out and i was 100% shook , i remember that i almost cried when i listened to Joanne (song), (and i think that was actually the song that made a die-hard fan).

So it was probably a mix of Applause, Venus, Perfect Illusion, Judas, Poker Face and Paparazzi. :queenga:

*Ohhh and i remember that when i was 8-11 years old, i felt suuuuper dirty when i watched her MVs lol. Specially with Telephone and Judas hahshaghaha... So in part her MVs also contributed in order for me to be a LM.

N I was like "who is this bih I love her I love this song," Then I listened to Just Dance straight after and it was concrete that I would be a fan for my life and that was it forever.

Before reading this, keep in mind I had been an indie/rock guy for the longest time...the "real music is dead" type of guy. Never listened to the radio. Despised the US charts. Only got small wiffs of pop culture. Religiously indie boy.

For the longest time, I only knew of Gaga based on Bad Romance and Poker Face (didn't realize Paparazzi and Just Dance were by her). Everyone was talking about them in middle school! I hated everything pop but secretly loved those two songs. I tried listening to one of her other songs a few years later but didn't like it (I think it was Born This Way...cannot be sure) so I just gave up on her stuff then. Later Gaga bombarded Spotify with snippets of Do What U Want as an ad for ARTPOP and I definitely remember that. Absolutely HATED that song at the time...the lyrics and cover totally gave me the wrong idea about what the album was all about. Really too bad I didn't take the time to really understand what the art was truly about.

After I got into Madonna, I decided to take another stab at pop and reconnected with Bad Romance. But it was only after watching the Million Reasons video (yeah...that one you all love to hate on) that I became a little monster. I literally jumped out of my chair after listening to it. After YEARS of being told that this generation was devoid of all powerful, instrumental genuine heartfelt music finally I had something that I could point to and say THIS IS IT! I've never looked back since. Took me until sophomore year of college, dang it!

Oh, and I do love Born This Way and ARTPOP very much now :)
