Welcome to Saudi Arabia. Welcome to the dark ages.

:rip:

He did it in the middle of the road. I thought it's a parking lot at first, but the cars were approaching and slowing down. Someone could've gotten hurt. It's disruption of traffic.

I watched the video and read the entire article.

The boy was dancing on a "pedestrian crossing", while the vehicle had to stop because of the red traffic lights.

For me is the imprisonment clearly an exaggeration.

I am sure, they detained him mostly for just having fun aka listening to music and dancing on the pedestrian crossing.

Saudia Arabia is a mess...

They said he most likely won't be charged?

If it would be anywhere else, I'd understand some comments, but it's ridiculous and dangerous to start dancing in the middle of the road, on a pedestrian crossing, no matter who it is. The red lights don't last forever, you know.

They have so many car accidents per year.

Why would anyone put themselves in that position? Couldn't he do it anywhere else? It's a stupid stunt to become viral.

Listening music is not forbidden in Jeddah, as far as I know.

Mess, this is the kind of news we should be careful about, no this wasnt for him dancing, it was for him being an ass in the middle of the road.

If one quick gaze at your cellphone kills people all the time, why is a dancing kid any better?

Its like defending a murderer because he was drunk, laws exist for a reason
