vesp 1
I get what you are saying, but that is the wrong term to use. Yeah, the misuse of terms seems to happen, I was said to be falling into the Socratic method trap tonight when not one question had been posed, oh well. :)

Kidz Boop 0
Okay, epigenetics is not the environment acting on genes, at all. Epigenetics basically refers to changes in genes, but not by changing the actual DNA sequence. These changes are still heritable - that means epigenetic modifications can still be passed on to offspring. I get what you are saying, but that is the wrong term to use. Did I say it was changing the DNA sequence? I am talking about the heritable alterations in gene expression caused by factors other than changes in the DNA sequence i.e. the influence of gene function which can happen by the environment. Kidz Boop 0
Yeah, the misuse of terms seems to happen, I was said to be falling into the Socratic method trap tonight when not one question had been posed, oh well. :) Read my last post, I have to simplify "terms" for you and others b/c if I didn't, you would get more confused. btw the irony was me using that image when I already knew I used it. smh. Forrest Gump 1
That makes no sense. How can an environment make 10% of the population homos-xual? People come from all over, from all different families, environments, classes. there's more than 10%

Kayla 7,595
I think you would have to be blind to not see how this song has a literal meaning. Gaga has said people are born gay. I'm guessing she thought the same when writing this song. This. I think the true meaning is the idea of "Birth" being infinite, but the song largely touches on the idea/fact that people are, literally, BORN biologically gay/straight/bi/transgender.
