giskardsb 12,565
Top 5 Gaga tune. its perfect, wouldn't change a thing.
Kermit the frog 1,860
The instrumental in verses slays. They should've kept it without gagas vocals.
Bloody Mary 12
This was definitely my favorite song on BTW upon first listen. Incredible production, wonderful lyrics, and one of Gaga's all-time best pre-choruses. :legend:
RinoTheBouncer 1
Lmao,I feel bad for making this thread now.Now that the original poster of the original thread came into my version of the thread. MIND****ING! See? Reductive :P jst kidding hehe It's alright, I was happy that I'm not the only one who thinks that this song deserves a lot of appreciation and attention :) Where's Rinoooo? He's here ;P ;) thanks for remembering I thought we had a thread of this, and oh, it was started by Rino. Bloody Mary SLAYS. period! You're so my type :P Bloody Mary got enough appreciation tbh. Yeah of course, the single release, the video of 15 minutes, the countless performances not to mention the great remixes EP, yeah, totally right my friend. Inb4 Rino :P ;) now Reno's back xD
Gaga is Life 101
It's one of my favourites on Born This Way. I just listened to it. It is truly an epic song :legend:
Miel 15,009
The production is amazing! The strings were really unexpected (for me), and the verse's bass is incredible. Great song, and I agree with whomever said it's one of her best pre-choruses. 3 points in and ready for more
RinoTheBouncer 1
The great thing about the song is that there's nothing like it, at least nothing that was released recently. The growling and vocal distortions, the scream not to mention the heart shattering lyrics and brilliant music. It really is a masterpiece, I find it much more powerful than Bad Romance and the rest because it's not that typical song about love and s-x.
La Rosalia 9,906
Bloody Mary was the biggest surprise for me when I heard Born This Way, I didn't ecpect anything from this song before the album leaked, it is one of the best (if not the best) moments of this album. Amazing pre-chorus, bridge and instrumental
Lady4Gaga 0
I love the album so much! I just wish she hadn't called it "album of the decade" tbh This. Makes me wonder if Gaga thinks her next releases over this next decade will not be as good as BTW? She kind of stuck her foot in it with that comment. I don't like the GagaCycle cover at all....never will. I like the deluxe version better. But the music on the album is awesome! I agree with BadMikey---she put her all into it, and it shows. Not a bad song on the album.
Miel 15,009
the album is so overproduced to me. i used to thought this album was epic the first few months but whenever i listen to it now i get so full from it and doesn't sound as classic as she wanted it to be I see where you're coming from, but I feel the opposite. At first listen I thought it was THE ****, like, best **** ever. Then after a week everything got jumbled and it was overwhelming to listen to. But after a few months it started giving off a more timeless feel to me, much more than TF or TFM. I'm glad that BTW has gotten much more diverse opinions not just with non/casual fans, but within the fanbase itself. The difference between number 1 and number 2 Kinda OT but good job M83! 3 points in and ready for more
MANiCURE1295 8,673
I've been sitting on the computer for a little bit listening to the album from the start and I can just say that I love it! Blasting it is the absolute best. I remember sitting at my dinner table downloading the album and dying of excitment. You can see how much she had grown up from TFM era. I love it. This album is awesome. Such an amazing pop record. It deserved it's Album of The Year nomination.
kfitch06 0
Bloody Mary gave me chills the first time I listened to it. It literally took me a couple of days to listen to it without being creeped out...the melody, the production, the lyrics, the monk chanting. It's such a haunting song. The pre-chorus is so splendidly unsettling in a mocking, child-like way. :legend:
