Lana is obviously addicted to wacky stuff that help her get to a place from which she's able to write the type of music she does but since she simply can't be on the drug while on stage she's in a constant state of withdrawal which combined with her shyness makes it hard for her to recreate her art. and you realize that music videos aren't done in front of an audience in one take and you're not concerned with vocal delivery right? Lana's "So Legit" kind of explains the whole situation."...your taste once exquisite... and now you're selling 20 million..." basically, the one thing Lana and her fans hold dearest is her legitimacy as an artist. her ghetto outfits are legit and ooh there ain't no other way.
