This makes absolutely no sense from a business aspect :toofunny:

This is not the reason.

My guess is that they are being cautious with it. They don't want to put out a ton of dates to have to cancel some.

she seriously always needs a rest anymore I mean she barely rehearsed and it's noticeable

where?

OT: i wonder if they underestimated the success of the tour or they focused a good portion of the budget into the stage instead of venues and hope the sold out success will pay for future dates

Rebel Heart tour:80 million

ArtRave:83 million

Both didnt flop, but ArtRave grossed 3 million more then the Rebel Heart Tour.

Excuse me no. RHT grossed 169.8 million

Lose control. Let go and fall. Do you get the satisfaction?

never thought about that, the stage has been giving them headache for every show so far and i think they wanted to dip their toes before going all out

Most likely it's because transport of the stage is too expensive. Or Gaga just want to do a quick tour cause maybe she wants to have a baby soon or she has plenty of new "side" projects to work on next year and promotion for ASIB

I just think she has new projects coming next year and doing 4 months of world tour after releasing and album doing SB, Coachella and shooting a movie can't be very exhausting...

If she releases new music next year (not counting ASIB) I wouldn't be surprised if it gives it no tour.

I wonder why Gaga doesnt visit Asia and Australia tho?Asia loves her(except Indonesia and China),and she visited Australia during the ArtRave.

This tour it is probably because of the expense of moving such an elaborate stage that far for the amount of shows she could realistically do. Live Nation probably made the decision that it isn't cost effective this tour.

Tours are extremely complicated contracts.  I used to book tours for smaller artists and there's a lot that goes in to even that so I can only imagine what goes into Gaga's. Between venues, security, crew, merchandise, sponsors, ticketing and overall schedule; it's smarter and easier to do it in chunks than plan out an entire year long run.

I'm pretty sure it's because it's expensive to transport the stage materials overseas.

I think it's a mix of everything...expenses, scheduling, timing etc....but I think the main reason was that Gaga's been burnt out on tour before, and with her busy schedule this year, she didn't want to risk it.  Also, I get the feeling that she wants this era to be shorter, like ARTPOP was, because this album was create to heal herself, her demons and her family, and now that it's a success they've all been healed, and she can move forward optimistically, hence The Cure
