NIghtmareElm 2,606
What movies do you love that flopped at the box office when they came out? They can be cult favorites now even if though they did horrible when they first came out. Or they can be flat out flops. -The Big Lebowski -Idiocracy -A Cure for Wellness -Foxcatcher -Swiss Army Man -Gummo -Kids

Maleficent 6
Swept Away ($1 million against a $10 million budget ) Body of Evidence ($13 million against a $30 million budget--though not bad for a Madonna movie )

AIex 3,102
Sucker Punch didn't flop box office-wise but it was dragged to the pits of hell by the GP even though it should be the gold standard in action film.
andreas85 400
I think the film "Nine" is almost as good as musical can get nowadays although it wasn't much of a commercial success. I really have to watch it again sometime.
CautiousLurker 19,471
Golden Compass... To be fair, I didn't like the movie very much, but I thought the sequel they eventually scrapped had potential, and I live for Nicole Kidman playing a b*tch It's a joke! When you give me that look, it's a joke!

MadeToBAMonster 73
My favorite flop is probably Death to Smoochy. It's a mind trip admittedly but Robin Williams and Ed Norton deliver some of their best work in it. Mind you it's an extremely dark comedy, I can't help but watch it often.
