It wasn't a meet and a greet, so she wasn't obligated to do anything other than pose for a picture with groups of fans.

why can't anyone understand this? :saladga:

I think she was just extremely nervous and remember that she suffers from anxiety at times. I know what it's like, it can make you feel frozen and withdrawn into your own thoughts. Perhaps once she's done the show a few times she will open up more.

I remember the first of the Monster Ball shows was in Manchester. She didn't talk to the crowd much that night and things went wrong such as her wigs and outfits had gone missing. She put on an excellent show but you could tell she wasn't in the best mood. Imagine if she had met fans before that show happened knowing now what hiccups there had been on that night. It took a few shows for her to get into her stride and when I attended another show months later she was so much happier and talked more to the crowd.

I think it's the same this time. We all see Gaga as a super star but she's just a person like everyone else.

Spoiled brats?  Prices have never been this high for this type of ticket and it is not even close to how much this money bought on her last tour. I could have spent this money on many other things I assure you that would have benefitted me much more than a concert. I don't regret this and I know what I signed up for, but excuse us if we are trying to find some sort of loophole to talk to her for lke two seconds! :madge:

People on the post already established that, not only was it not a Meet & Greet,  but she was also running very late and there were technical difficulties. Not only was she anxiety ridden and nervous, but the smallest issues make her freak out. She's a human, and there are people losing their **** over the first tour date.

Religion is a product to sell.

Am I A Girl

I got my grandmother and i the ultimate backstage experience and I am just happy to be in the same room with her. I am not sad or mad about a group photo. I'm kind of disappointed we don't get anything signed though. They could've just included signed posters or something in the package and she could sign them and they send them to you so she doesn't have to sign anything during the M&G.

Exactly. It sometimes takes a couple shows but once she gets into the swing of things, we'll have the warm affectionate sweet mama monster that we all know and love. I was watching some old footage the other day of all of the monsters she's invited on stage and 99.9% of the time they're all snuggled up against her as she plays piano and she doesn't get upset or ask them to stop laying their head on her shoulder. She just carries on like its the most normal thing in the world to have a little monster snuggled up against her. The love she has for her monsters is pure and genuine

I love you monsters. I'd be unfixably broken without you

I understand that but doesn't mean I am still not going to at least try.

First of all like some have luckily already stated: It's a backstage experience, not a Meet & greet. I was contemplating getting one this year but when I read it was just a group photo I expected there would be little time for any interaction with Gaga, therefor I decided not to buy one.

Also I think this is a smart move on her part. She's a sensitive person. She is super caring and has a huge heart but I can't imagine what it's like to have to deal with people that want things from her or pour their heart out to her about their struggles in life. She's already physically exhausted from the show and then being emotionally exhausted as well I can imagine is pretty stressful to her.

For a long time I think her fans were kind of a security blanket to her. They give so much love and that comforted her in a time when she wasn't doing so well. Also helping others I feel makes her deal with her own issues and feel better. To me this was particularly apparent during the BTW tour.  She was just surrounding herself with stuffed animals, sharing incredibly personal stories on stage and even when she was physically exhausted, invited fans to her bed backstage. It's kind of like we were a form of a drug for her.

Also as much as I loved her taking fans backstage, it did become a bit obsessive at one point. Many fans seemed more concerned about getting Gaga to notice them then actually enjoying the show.

I think she wants to do things more on her own terms and protect herself. She only has so much to give and she has friends and family and a boyfriend to care about as well. Her social media is very telling to me, at one point she only posted to promote stuff. She's older now and seems a lot happier and healthier and although I miss her as a person sharing her feelings with us, and I miss getting to see her and talk to her, I understand this is what she needs right now and I hope other fans do to.

According to Gaga I'm a ****ing rad bitch
