John Delaney of Maryland, who announced his bid Friday. Delaney was first elected to the House in 2012 and represents Maryland's 6th Congressional District, which spans Western Maryland and part of the Washington suburb of Montgomery County. In announcing his decision to seek the Democratic nomination for president, Delaney said he will not seek re-election to his House seat.
