J. Mafia 1 Posted June 21, 2012 Share Posted June 21, 2012 Last album? i need a shift of focus. What i want to do with my life is be a filmmaker, and i've been very busy with that lately. Plus, it was originally something my brother and i did to bond. I feel like it's apparent he wasn't there for me in Joy Ride (the album), and even though it's better than what i've done in the past, i've become less passionate about it. i feel like i'll always write songs, but as far as recording them and releasing goes, i'm pretty much done with that. Keep in mind both the rapper and the singer featured in this song are immigrants and has only been in US for 4 or less years, :toofloppy: so PLZ bare with their accents. They're really passionate about what they do though. BTW we recorded the whole song through the internal mic of my MacBook Pro. It was a ****ing nightmare, you have no idea. Anyway, tomorrow I'm going to a festival for a week (and see Lana Del Rey, the xx, the shins and other people I kind of care about ) So I won't be on here for a week!
